NAU Potter's Square

What was once an unused dirt lot enclosed by the horseshoe of Prochnow Auditorium and the 1899 Bar & Grill is now outdoor patio seating with a fire pit, a central lawn for ceremonies and tented events, and a formal central lighted walkway.  Peak Engineering led the design team and provided construction phase services.

NAU Central Campus Pedway

Peak Engineering led a design team of landscape architects, structural and electrical engineers on renovation of the central campus pedestrian and bicycle corridor and repurposing of two parking areas.  The completed project improved accessibility, incorporated universal design strategies and created recreational green space and gathering areas.

Northern Arizona University: Greening the Quad

The project was a major revitalization of the historic North Quad.  Formerly a parking lot and roadway, the North Quad is now an iconic place on campus for events, academic ceremonies and a gathering space for the community.   Peak Engineering led the design team and was responsible for survey, design, public support and construction phase services.

Sedona Skate Park Survey

The City of Sedona asked Peak Engineering to coordinate the upgrade of the City’s skate park to accommodate BMX users.  In addition to seeking out a BMX and Skate Park design specialist, Peak Engineering performed the topographic survey.

Flagstaff Urban Trail System- Sego Lily

The project is a mile-long trail extending from the Sunnyside Neighborhood to the Arizona Trail on McMillan Mesa.  The trail was designed to follow along the edge of the mesa and take advantage of the natural features including rock outcrops, mature Ponderosa and oak groves. Construction on this project was completed Fall of 2012.
